Our mission is to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and faithfully teaching His Word. We have a special calling to serve the Oromo-speaking community in Dallas and the surrounding areas while sharing the Good News of Christ with people of every language, background, and nation.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and that salvation is found in Him. Because of this, we desire to be a church where people can hear the Gospel, come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and be equipped to live as His disciples.

Jesus calls His followers “the light of the world.” We therefore seek to reflect Christ not only when we gather for worship, but also in our homes, our workplaces, our relationships, and our community. Through our words and the way we live, we want others to see the love and truth of Christ and give glory to God.

Rooted in the Word of God

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is the foundation of our preaching, teaching, worship, and daily life. We desire to know God's Word, obey it, and faithfully pass it on to the next generation.

Centered on Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is at the center of our faith and the life of our church. We gather in His name, worship Him as Lord and Savior, and seek to become more like Him in the way we live, love, and serve.

Faith in the Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We worship God the Father, trust in the saving work of Jesus Christ the Son, and depend upon the Holy Spirit to guide, strengthen, and transform us.

Committed to the Gospel

The Gospel is not only the message through which we come to faith; it shapes the whole life of the church. We are committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with our families, our Oromo community, our neighbors, and people of every nation.

Making and Growing Disciples

We believe every follower of Christ is called to continue growing in faith and to help others follow Him. Through biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, worship, and service, we seek to equip believers to know Christ more deeply and faithfully live out their faith.

A Family in Christ

The church is more than a place we attend on Sunday. We are brothers and sisters united in Christ. We seek to pray for one another, encourage one another, carry one another's burdens, celebrate together, and walk alongside one another through every season of life.

Serving and Shining in Our Community

Jesus calls us to be the light of the world. We desire to demonstrate His love through compassion, hospitality, generosity, and service. Wherever God has placed us, we want our lives to point others toward Christ.

Raising the Next Generation in Faith

We value our children and young people as an important part of the church today and the future of our community. We are committed to teaching them God's Word, encouraging their faith, and helping them grow into men and women who know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.

Our strategy is to equip every member to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ and become a disciple-maker. Through biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, and service, we seek to prepare believers to live out their faith and confidently share the Gospel with others.

Our desire is to see every member grow in Christ, serve His church, and help others come to know and follow Him.
